Author Guidelines

Submitted manuscripts, after initial editorial screening, enter a peer-review process conducted by competent experts. Reviewers are not aware of the identity of the authors, and authors do not receive information about the reviewers. Based on the reviewers’ reports, the Editorial Office makes a decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript.

The journal publishes only previously unpublished scientific and professional papers in the field of public law.

The journal is published twice a year. Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year via email to the Editorial Office at: revijaprava@gmail.com.

Basic Manuscript Information and Format

Manuscripts should be written in Serbian. Papers may be published in English or another foreign language.

The length of manuscripts is up to 30,000 characters (including spaces), excluding footnotes. The font is Cambria 12. Footnotes are written in Cambria 10 and are used for citations. The page format is A5 with 1.5 cm margins on all sides. Line spacing is 1.25. Subheadings are bold and written in lowercase.

Article Structure

Author information is placed at the beginning of the paper, using the same font as the main text (Cambria 13). It includes the author’s full name. The author’s affiliation is provided in a footnote and includes the institution where the author is employed, as well as the author’s email address.

If the paper is based on a research project, the footnote must include information about the project number, project leader, and the funding institution.

The title of the paper should accurately reflect its content and facilitate indexing and searchability. The title is written in uppercase letters and centered.

The abstract (summary) must include an introduction to the research, a brief overview of the problem, applied methods, key results, and conclusions regarding the implications of the findings. It should contain only essential information necessary to understand the paper. The abstract should be 150–200 words long and written in both the language of the paper and in English, in italics.

Keywords should not repeat words from the title but should reflect the essential concepts of the paper. Up to 10 keywords should be provided. They are listed below the abstract at the beginning of the paper.

The reference list is placed at the end of the paper and formatted according to APA (American Psychological Association) style.

At the end of the manuscript, in the lower right corner, the Editorial Office records the dates of submission, acceptance, and any revisions in chronological order.

Paragraphs should be used throughout the text. A paragraph should not consist of a single sentence. Additional supporting materials (photographs, documents, transcripts, tables, graphs, drawings, diagrams) are welcome and may be published with prior permission from the relevant institutions. For example: Figure 1 – Title (source indicated in the footnote), Table 3 – Title (source listed below the table).

Method of Citation

APA (American Psychological Association) style is used for citations.

In-text citations include the author’s surname, year of publication, and page number.

The reference list is arranged alphabetically and formatted according to APA style.
