Abstract

Import regulation includes the application of various instruments and measures with multiple objectives, including protection of the domestic economy from competition, influence on the supply and demand relationship on the domestic market, collection of funds for the state budget, influence on the economic structure of the country and the organization of imports and exports in accordance with national goals. The application of these instruments depends on the specific objectives of the import policy and other aspects of the foreign trade policy.
